It's Been Decided...

So I have made a decision I am going to stick to...
I have decided to become a healthier person. I have decided that I will work out. I have decided that I will get back into the shape I was in X amount of years ago.
It's been decided..And I'm going to be dedicated!

Blahhh

So today I've been in a BLAH mood.
I don't really know why. I don't think it's the rain because I've been kinda feeling like this for the past couple of days now...Strange.
Today's also been one of those days where I could've gotten so much stuff done but I just didn't feel like doing it..I would start to do something..Like organize my room or clean..But then I'd just stop half way through to sit on the couch and do nothing.
I didn't even go tanning!! Which is the easiest thing I could've done today!! Guess I saved myself from cancer today..Hahaha :)
I've been thinking a lot about the wedding today too. I really need to get everything organized and squared away..I feel like I'm not prepared at all!! And I don't really have that much time left either..But whatever. I'll get it all figured out eventually.
Something else I really need to start doing is working out again!! Blah!! That's probably the biggest reason why I'm in this BLAH mood..I can't even remember the last time I went to the gym :/
And I REALLY need to get some kind of toneage to my body before the wedding day :/ I feel like a GIANT MARSHMELLOW!!! :(
Whatever..Can't complain though..Because it's my own fault..It's not like working out is that difficult or time consuming. It's just so much easier to be lazy! I know understand why so many Americans are obese..It's so easy!!!
Another thing that I know is probably having something to do with my mood is all the different, random thoughts that are going through my mind.
I shouldn't really blog about them because it's not really appropriate. But just know that everything is fine and in the end everything will be fine.
It's just so stressful to get from point A to point B..Especially when you have no clear cut plan as to what to do!!
It makes my shoulders tense just thinking about it all.
I should probably go on that note..It's almost 11 and I have yet to back a bag for this weekend and I have to wake up at 6 tomorrow morning.

Bridal Shower

This past Saturday was AMAZING!!
Paulette and Gretchen hosted my bridal shower on Saturday :)
While I hate having all eyes on me and feel very embarrassed by all the attention..
It was a lot better than I thought it would be.
All my closest friends and family memebers were in attendence. I think in all there was a total of 50 guests..And they each bought me the GREATEST gifts EVER!! :)
It was SO much fun getting all the gifts..Made me even more excited to get a house with Nathan and settle down (We still aren't certain when that will happen..But whenever it does..I'll be ready!!)
And I think we have just about everything we could need for our kitchen. I'm sure there's other random little things..But a lot of it was taken care of.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!
It was great getting to catch up with everyone at the shower too. It seems like I never get to see anyone any more..Which is LAME!!
But I guess that is besides the point.
Going back to the topic of gifts..Nathan only thought one gift was good and "Not a waste of money." Being the typical male that he is it was the liquor holder thing..lol..It holds the liquor bottle upside down and dispenses a shot worth of liquor..I'm not gonna lie..It is pretty cool..And I mean, I did register for it..lol
But there was a lot of other things that I liked more..Not knocking the liquor holder of course..Because like I said, I registered for it..Meaning I liked it and wanted it..lol
Unlike Nathan..I wouldn't be able to pick out a favorite gift.
That reminds me..I need to start filling out the Thank You cards..So I think I'm going to leave on that note.

I Need To Get Better At This...

So I'm watching the new episode of House & it has made me realize I suck at this blogging thing..Which explains the title.
The last blog I posted dealt with Nathan's re-deployment. As I said in the previous posting, "Nothing is every for certain." This is especially true with deployment news. The last we heard was that the December deployment might not even happen. This is good news and bad news. Good news obviously because Nathan will not be leaving. Bad news because Nathan won't get to do what he enjoys..Oddly enough.
By the way: This episode is HILARIOUS!! The best one in a long time :)
What else has been going on in my life???
Well..
The wedding is almost here!! YAY!! May 15th is getting closer and closer..And I can not wait!! Everything seems to be perfectly inline too. Of course..There are the usual odds and ends that need to be tied together. But I'm not worried :) It should be an amazing time. If you can't tell I'm REALLY looking forward to it :D
Other exciting news is that Winter quarter is SO f'ing close to being OVER!! Thank God!!! Winter quarter always sucks. I don't know why..But it ALWAYS does!! Without fail.
Other exciting news is that my cousin Lacey and her boyfriend Matt are expecting!! So excited!! I really want to be apart of the process. I think having a baby is the most miraculous thing Mother Nature can give..It's such a beautiful process. And I know that Lacey will be beautiful prego & be an amazing mother. I wonder whether she wants a boy or a girl?? Hmmmm...
I can't think of anything to blog about..So I guess that's my cue to sign off of here.
Good catching up with ya'll..I sincerely promise to get better at this. I forgot how much fun it was :)

Deployment News

Nathan and I just got word yesterday that he will be re-deploying in December.
We do not know any specifics yet..I probably won't post them on here anyways.
I just wanted to keep everyone informed.
Sorry this is such a short post..I've got a lot of stuff going on right now.

Wedding Stuff

All this wedding stuff is pretty crazy..But REALLY exciting!

Here's what I've gotten accomplished so far:

1.) We will be having the ceremony outside at Adena Mansion and Gardens.

2.) I have booked a photographer..Matt Day :)

3.) We have pretty much decided on a caterer..But I'm not going to mention any names yet :)

4.) I have a wedding gown :) Which me, my Mom, and my seamstress Beth have redesigned for me..I love the gown and all the details it has..I just wasn't happy with the style/shape of the gown..So in a way, it is a completely different dress :) And I LOVE IT!!


I know it is not a very long list..But it's a work in progress.
Right now I'm in the middle of booking a reception hall. Nathan and I are pretty sure the reception is going to be held at the Scioto Township Hall..But we, meaning I..lol, want to look at all the options available.
Also, just yesterday I scheduled an appointment to meet with a florist :) Flowers are my FAVORITE!! So hopefully..If we can afford it..There will be LOTS of flowers!!
I think that's all we have..I'm really wanting to get invitations and send them out..But I can't do that until I have all the details of the ceremony and reception worked out.
Anywho..I think it is about time to go to bed <3

New Year

To start, I apoligize. But I did tell ya'll in the beginning that I would probably be HORRIBLE at blogging. And I can not believe it has been an ENTIRE month since I was last on here..I really am awful :P
Anywho..It's a new year. That I CAN NOT BELIEVE!! Where has all the time gone?? My Momma was right..Time really does go by faster and faster every year.
So..A few things have happened since I was last on here.
1.) Nathan and I started looking for a house.
I may have mentioned that in an earlier blog..But I can't remember. When we first started looking we were really liking all the two story homes. Homes that we could stay in for 10 to 15 years. After realisticly discussing it though..It's better for us to get a smaller home. Something we can be in while I finish up school. We haven't really been looking hard. But I'm sure we'll find something..And if not..We'll survive and figure something out.
2.) Winter quarter started.
I've told myself it's going to be a better quarter than Fall. IT HAS TO BE!! PMA: Positive mental attitude :)
3.) I have OFFICIALLY started planning for me and Nathan's June 26, 2010 wedding ceremony!!! :)
This one I am SUPER DUPER EXCITED about!! Since the process of planning has started about a week ago I have gotten quite a few things accomplished. First thing I did was meet with Beth, my seamstress. She is going to customize my dress..Because after having this gut feeling that something about the dress wasn't EXACTLY right I figured out what the problem was..And all it is is that I want it more fitted through the hips. Not that big of a deal. It will still be the same BEAUTIFUL dress that I picked out..Just a little bit more form fitting. I have also contacted a caterer, a photographerer, two reception sites, and two ceremony sites. But there's really no need for the second ceremony site because I've already decided on Adena Mansion and Gardens :) The ceremony is going to be BEAUTIFUL!! I can not wait. I still have A TON of things to do..But I'm REALLY REALLY excited :)
